But I saw this place in a youtube video and wanted to check it out. Convinced my friends and took them further 28km away to Kookal where K Camp is located. It was a mesmerising experience. We felt like we had a experience beyond our expectation. It's a individual cottage with a Valley behind. Has 2 rooms one with 4 beds and the other with 8 beds (both include few bunk beds). Cost was reasonable. Per head 600 INR. As there was no one else when we stayed we were allowed to stay in the 8 beds room. If you want a place to be away from the vehicle noise or human presence. The best place to be. They setup campfire for 500 INR. And food is additional based on our preference. The travel in the single road to enter Kookal was thrilling and exciting. Totally loved the place. |

Hari Pillai 23/10/2021 9.8 / 10 One of the best places to stay in Kookal. The main cabin on top has two rooms. One is a dormitory that accommodates 8 people and the other room can sleep 4. Clean bathrooms and heater is also provided in both bathrooms. The food is basic but great taste. Service is punctual. You can also ask for Barbeque and they will marinate and provide it to you, there is a large pit to get a campfire going. A charge of 800 for campfire. Overall a great experience and must visit place. |
